Provenance: photographer's estate. Bohumil Statsny was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia on June 15, 1905. The Houston Museum of Fine Arts exhibited his work in the show "Czech Modernism: 1900-1945". His work also appears in the book of the same name published in coordination with the show.
