Photographer's stamps and inked title and process/paper type on verso of mount. This is a dramatic modernist image with its constructivist angle of view and its strong sense of light, shadow and texture. Nicely matted and in new black wood frame.
Triol was photographer who lived in Beziers, France in the Languedoc region. His work combines the best of pictorialism with the best of modernism. He was active in the 1930s.
