Robert Schiller was an American photographer born in 1925. He took photos for the Institute of Design, originally called the New Bauhaus. He was an ID student from 1946-49 and often photographed the school's events.
His experimental photography is in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. One of his experimental photos, "Light and Shadow", won a prize from Popular Photography magazine in 1949.
