Filipacchi, Paris. Loose bound portfolio quarto. Original paper portfolio with collotype reproduction of Man Ray and a group of his friends mounted on front. This is one of the few hors-commerce copies reserved for Juliet Man Ray and Marion Meyer and collaborators at Photo magazine. It is marked H.C.XIII and signed by Juliet Man Ray. The regular edition came in two sets. The deluxe copy was made in 50 examples and came with an original Man Ray photograph. Another 500 copies were printed without the additional photograph. Some light wear and closed tears along the side edges to the paper portfolio container, otherwise it is in VF condition, bright and clean. With 38 collotypes either by Man Ray himself or picturing the artist. Very rare in this condition and very sought after.
