| Description: A dreamy view of a child running after sheep. The mediobrome process was Misonne's particular version and adaptation of the bromoil process, which was later used by other pictorialists such as Mortensen. Written in pencil on the verso, the grandson of Leonard Misonne, "P. (Pierre) Misonne," certifies the image as a work of his grandfather. Provenance: family of Misonne. A long biography on this very important photographer is available. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges. |
