A pastural, painted backdrop, a live plant, and decorative floor complete the image. Particularly notable (and disturbing) are their bound feet. Written in ink across top image, "Chinerinnen zu Hause." Two tears at top have been repaired at the Bibliotheque Nationale; otherwise the print is in fine condition with excellent tones.
