| Description: The size refers to each image itself. Mounted on blue-green period board with ink inscriptions in French (Nam-Dink: Examen du Lettrés; Ministres de la Cour de Hué; Le Minstre du Rito; Proclamation du Résultats; L'inscription de la planchette signifié Edit-Royal). Basically the image on the left is of the Ministers of the Hue Court (note the presence of French soldiers in the stand behind the odd umbrellas), and the image on the right is of the exam results being read by royal degree. A very unusual and interesting pair of images. Quite rare. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges. |
