Roberto Eichenberger, born in Guatemala in 1902, attended the Agfaphoto Schule in Berlin in the mid-1920s. Back in Guatemala, he became a renowned portraitist, free-lanced for National Geographic Magazine and was probably the first to use positive color film in Guatemala, during the mid-thirties. His wife, Mary Nicol Eichenberger, painstakingly tinted thousands of his photographs. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer.
