| Description: Matte print is beautifully hand colored and identified and titled in black ink on label on verso of frame. Roberto Eichenberger, born in Guatemala in 1902, attended the Agfaphoto Schule in Berlin in the mid-1920s. Back in Guatemala, he became a renowned portraitist, free-lanced for National Geographic Magazine and was probably the first to use positive color film in Guatemala, during the mid-thirties. His wife, Mary Nicol Eichenberger, painstakingly tinted thousands of his photographs. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges. |
