| Description: A touchingly human portrait. Stamped and labeled with photographer's infomation on verso. Titled and dated in unknown hand, possibly the photographer's. Marian (sometimes known as Marianne) Reismann was born December 23, 1911 in Szombathely, Hungary. She exhibited at the influential "International Photographic Exhibition, Budapest: Centenary of Daguerre, 1837-1937". She was active primarily from the1930s-1950s. Her brother Janos Reismann was also a photographer. She is mentioned in the book by Kincses, Karoly, "Photographs Made in Hungary". She died in Budapest on September 28, 1991.
