The photographer took 60 photographs of passengers in each class of metro service. The images have been reproduced in a number of important photo histories and books, including William Klein's Portraits d'Une Capitale, p.78. The last in an edition of three; the other two are sold (one in the National Museum of Warsaw collection and one in a photographer's private collection). Signed, titled and dated in ink on recto of print. The price is for the pair. The actual full size of the canvas is 620 x 790 mm.
