| Description: This crinolated, arched bridge spans a river in Verona that appears to be running high. This same bridge was blown up by the Germans in WWII but lovingly rebuilt brick by brick in the post-war era. It is one of the prettiest in Europe. Title written in pencil on recto mount. No. 46 reversed out of negative. The ponte or bridge is a Ponte Scaligero. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges. |
