| Description: Photographer's name and date "Sept. 1866" written in pencil on verso. Wenderoth was a Philadelphia photographer. This "still life" incorporates the instruments of his craft (note the camera lens and glassware for preparing chemicals) as well as an open book, a pipe, a formidable sculpture of a warrior knight, and finally the fruits of his craft, a framed portrait, which the small marble bust complements. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania and New York buyers must pay appropriate sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges. |
