Description:

Early Magnum credit stamp with title and name of photographer in pencil. It is possible that the name (Gus Manos) is actually a signature. Manos joined Magnum in 1963. The scene reflects the race tensions of the time. In 1963 and 1964 the murders of Medgar Evers and the three Mississippi Freedom Summer workers, James E. Cheney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner stirred emotions that eventually built up into the race riots of 1968.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
