He trained as an engineer and was an amateur who worked primarily in the bromoil process and was active in the 1920-30s. He displayed his work in many of the leading salons in America, France, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Czechoslovakia and other European venues. He was even a salon judge himself. Krupka lived in Prague during his active period. He illustrated his wife's book, "Dvanáct Mesícku" in 1937. He is listed in Auer & Auer and in the George Eastman House databases.
