With photographer's red stamp on verso and negative number in pencil. The Foire du Trone is one of the largest country fairs in France that attracts a staggering five million visitors each year. Its origins date back to 957 when merchants met with farmers and producers to trade grain and rice. Over its 1,000-year history, it has shifted venues, changed names and survived the French Revolution to become one of the biggest fairs in the French calendar. Provenance: Photographer to Models, Marc and Christiane Chevalier. Comes with a letter of provenance from Marc Chevalier.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
