Signed, titled and dated by the photographer in pencil on the verso. With other notations including Manchester collection number and Kertesz's stamp on verso. In 1978, the English artist Harold Riley convinced Kertesz to gift a large number of prints to Salford 80, a festival of photography which was held in the north English cities of Salford and Manchester. The work was selected by Kertesz and Riley and contained work from every period on a variety of papers, many of which are not available today. Many of the prints were vintage or near vintage and others were printed later by Kertesz but all well before 1980. Provenance: The Manchester Collection.
