Dated "February 22, 1951" in pencil by the artist on the verso. With estate number N1257. See: Daiter, André Kertész, New York: The Lost Years, p.30. A dramatic and graphic image composed of windows, brick and shadows. This was reportedly the only print in the estate of this image and may be a unique vintage print. It did not glow under blacklight, which is in keeping with the early date. Provenance: Estate of photographer.
