The boy wears a military style (Zouave?) jacket and trousers as he holds the open dag case. Some light scattered wisps that can only be seen on an angle. In a Myron Shew half case and early thin metal octagonal matt. Shew also sold such materials so it is only probable that the dag came from the Philadelphia area.
