Photographic montage of silhouettes in a model stage setting. Alfieri was a founding member of the Linked Ring, the secessionist group of British pictorial photographers in 1892. His Link pseudonym was "Master of the Musick". The work is reminiscent of contemporary artist Kara Walker. Alfieri's better vintage work is very rare.
