In addition, there are two salon labels on verso (1935 Midland/Wolverhampton and 1936 Berkenhead). Harbridge, who was English, was a member of the Royal Photographic Society and was active in the 1930s salons. He exhibited at the 1935 New York Annual Exhibition of Pictorial Photography and at the 1936 Royal Photographic Society's Exhibition.
