Marcel Marien was a famous Belgium surrealist and a close associate of Rene Magritte. He was a writer, filmmaker, artist and photographer. At 17 he joined the group of Belgium surrealists and participated in the first surrealist exposition organized by E.L.T. Mesens in London. Photographer's stamp and ink identification on verso.
