Rosenberg was an advanced amateur photographer and president of the Sacramento Camera Club. He exhibited at many salons and photo publications of the 1930s-1940s, including Popular Photography. Rosenberg was the winner of the sixth Rotarian magazine's photo contest out of 1,450 entries in 1942.His work is in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Photographic Society of America.
