The Mullick people of Behar are a Suni Muslim tribe. From Vol. 1 of the important and rare early illustrated book, The People of India, vol. 1, edited by Dr. John Forbes and Sir John William Kaye, and published by Wm. H. Allen & Co., London from 1868-75. Text written by Col. Meadows Taylor. This ambitious work was intended to document the races and tribes of Hindustan. It was originally prepared under the authority of the Government of India, and reproduced by order of the Secretary of State for India.
